Recognition

The London & Southeast England Prestige Award in the education sector was awarded to the Young Reporter Scheme in February 2022. This was our first award for the scheme, which has been operating now since 2008.

There were fifty different categories put forward for an award including, architects, law firms and charities to name a few.

 

A spokesperson for the Prestige Awards, said: “The judges were impressed with the Young Reporter’s personal touch, consistency of reviews and community feel.”

In 2024, we were then awarded Best Journalism Education Programme by SME News Southern Enterprise Awards.

 

This was another fantastic achivement for the scheme and the Young Reporter team are thrilled to have been recognised for a second time, to show that the hard work and dedication has paid off.
